Thinning, limp hair is tough to style and over blow drying makes it frizzy and harder to manage .
For some styling help try Living Proof’s root lifting spray which you spray at the roots, comb through, dry upside down and voila you have yourself both height and volume. It works on all hair types and I like the fact that it still leaves hair with movement .
Going one step back to conditioning- Most conditioners leave hair limp and weighed down because they are heavy lotions. Kerastase Resistance has a conditioning milk, Resisitance Volumintense which is a toning and volumising conditioner for fine hair. Use on the ends and mid lengths for fullness. I was introduced to this product by B blunt’s Adhuna Akhtar
For a little more therapeutic volumising there is Kerastase’s Stimuliste Nutri energising daily anti -hair loss spray which nourishes thinning hair and creates density and volume.
It should eb sprayedon the roots. But a hair stylist told me she used it at the hairline and at the hair parting. Just a little spritz and and then massage in to create fullness where hair tends to pull away. It actually reduces hair fall while styling and brushing.
I think men can use it too, especially since they do have a lot of hair thinning issues.
Hair changes character so you often need to re-look at products on the bathroom shelf. Stay away from overwashing and over blow drying hair – the two main culprits when it comes to limp and frizzy hair. Check the brush you use as well.
