Palldium, Mumbai’s one aspiring Luxury mall hosted Vogue’s Fashion Night Out this year. It was a coup of sorts as FNO moved out from Delhi where it has been firmly entrenched for the last four years .
What did we think? It was buzzy, fun and beautiful ( strictly from the beauty brand spotting perspective ) though we can’t comment too much on the luxe fashion stores .
Some stores rocked-Kiehl’s took ‘rock star’ status with live music, chilled beer ,a great buzz and people spilling out into the corridors rubbing shoulders with Mr Bones, the Kiehls mascot.
Swarowski had a permanent crowd thanks to their launch of India inspired bangles.
Chanel’s new color Magic a deep blue is a must have though we secretly lust for Les Khakis – still in our opinion the best Chanel FNO nail collection.
Satya Paul showcased its capsule Masaba collection – love the telephone booth tights and lipstick saree .
Lakme had a chic and stylish pop up store in the centre of the mall that upped the Lakme Absolute ante considerably.
And of course you just had to score a Sabyasachi Maharani tee short at Rs 500 . In these days of a tanking economy the only thing we can afford at Sabya .
The party for the Beautiful people was at Serafina , a surprising choice considering how bad the food is but its location at the top of the mall with a bird’s eye view probably was the swaying factor.
Ended the evening with a bit of indulgence at Indigo Deli – a dark choclate and jalapeño mousse created just for FNO
Enjoy the pix .
