Chanel’s newly launched Vitalumiere Douceur compact is a pressed powder foundation that gives both hydration and glow unlike other pressed powders. I think its the technology that has let Chanel whip up powder to a very fine texture so it seems weightless and with the addition of optical diffusers it works for light to medium coverage. Can be used by itself or as a finishing companion to your Vitalumiere foundation. Don’t go by the sample picture -there are enough shades .Try any of the rose beige series  for Indian skin.

I’ve been eyeing this book at the Crossroads store but didn’t pick it up as I have a back log of so many purchases that I have still not got to reading. 🙂 Star anise: I used to use it in herbal tea, it gives such a lovely aroma and flavour.

how do you make tea with star anise- by infusing or boiling ? would have thought the flavor would be too strong but must try 🙂
