I loved Jessica Chastain’s awesome performance in the film Zero Dark Thirty – and her persona fits the YSL woman who is always a little edgier than the others.
This is a manifesto for our times – “a Manifesto for femininity dedicated to women who live by their own personal code,” according to the inspiration notes.
Hints of cedar, lily of the valley and bergamot make this a strong, defined fragrance.
The purple slash on the bottle is a tribute to Yves St Laurent’s’ daring ( for the times) teaming of purple and fuchsia in the pop fashion scene of the sixties.
